Koichi Shimura, Head of the Technical Committee, with Shinji Kohata for the first Official JKF Wado-Kai seminar in Rome!
Shimura + Kohata = 2024, April 26-28
A three-day karate seminar, 12 hours of training in total, equivalent to four weeks of a normal karate course. A real karate Spring Camp led by the Head of the JKF Wado-Kai Technical Committee.
Dear karateka,
We are pleased and honored to announce that Italy will host the Wadokai Seminar in Rome, a karate seminar that is an official event of the Japan Karatedo Federation Wado-Kai, authorized and recognized by the Wado-Kai Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
The event will take place on April 26, 27, and 28, 2024, and the 8th dan Koichi Shimura Sensei himself (Head of the JKF Wado-Kai Technical Committee) will lead the seminar, with the support of Shinji Kohata Sensei, 7th dan. It will be the first time that Shimura Sensei will come to teach in Italy.
During the event, an Official Exam Session open to all the JKF Wado-Kai members attending the seminar will take place for graduation from 1st to 5th Dan.
It is therefore with extreme happiness that our branch, as co-organizer in collaboration with the Wado-Kai Headquarters in Tokyo, makes a call for all the Wado friends and community to gather in the Eternal City, to benefit and enjoy this important training opportunity and technical, martial and human enrichment. The Official JKF Wadokai Seminar is open to all karate practitioners aged 12 years and older who hold the minimum rank of yellow belt.
The maximum number of participants is limited. To register and secure a place at the JKF Wadokai Official Seminar in Rome you have to fill out the online form found at the bottom of this website page or the following link: JKF Wadokai Official Seminar in Rome Application.
The cost of the seminar is € 80.
