WKSI – Wadokai Karatedo Shin-gi-tai Italia, the Italian branch of the JKF Wado-kai, reintroduced its Summer Camp of karate wado-ryu this year 2018. With the overall number of participants having reached 71, we can say that we started off on the right foot again.

The WKSI Summer Camp took place on the first weekend of June, from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd, in a comfortable facility in the Abruzzo National Park, in the province of L’Aquila. Surrounded by nature and the mountains, among the beautiful ancient villages of Abruzzo, the WKSI Summer Camp was for us an opportunity of being immersed in nature, training karate in harmony – and enjoying the swimming pool too! – for three days. Having fun and relaxing just a couple of hours away from the capital.
